This holder looks good on my 780, fits perfectly and matches the shine of the blender, does not look like an add on accessory. This is a very pricey option for a very pricey blender and truthfully an item that I could live without but I do like having the tamper close at hand. The holder securely holds the all of my different length tampers from the short 32/48 oz to the more tapered short 64 oz tamper.Update: after using the tamper holder for a while I found that this is a really convenient addition to the vitamix 780, during the auto smoothie program it’s nice to have the tamper close at hand if you need to help get frozen items into the blades and only have a few seconds to get the task done before the program stops. Simple to grab the tamper because the tamper is exactly where you expect it to be.
