It is just what the doctor ordered! Sadly, the top that came with the blender got too close to the stove top and suffered the consequences! I will not do that again! This one is just the right size and it definitely does its' job perfectly. There are no leaks; it is durable, and though it was slightly expensive, it was worth the expense because I use it everyday.
