These are thin af, there are lots of stray hairs in the large brushes. I don’t see how you could do a decent beat with theseThe beauty blenders are on the firmer side compared to others, but they do a good job blending my makeup. You can wet them to make them blend more smoothly as well. The egg carton they come in is cute, can be reused, and four blenders will last awhile.The brushes are very soft and fluffy and come in a good variety of sizes. However, they had started to shed a little before I opened them. I’m not sure about the durability of the brushes, but the beauty blenders are a good value.The sponges work great, used with foundation and they helped achieve a smooth, even finish. The brushes are average quality, with a few stray hairs but a nice variety of sizes. I mostly use brushes for blending after using my fingers for application and for that I was happy with them. For the price, there is a lot included in this set which is why I would recommend it.These brushes are so soft! they hold the pigment very well. It also blends very well. My only issue is the bottom part is cheap plastic. Otherwise i love these brushes!I really love that this set comes with both make-up brushes and sponges. The brushes in this set are soft and I like that there is a variety in the sizes and types of brushes. The handles are okay, but nothing special. The drawstring bag for the brushes is also okay, but I would have preferred a zippered case to make it easier to find the brush you’re looking for. The sponges are also soft and work well. I like the case that comes with it to hold the sponges. That is something that makes this set different from others I’ve seen. I got the green color, and I love the way they look. The larger brushes are soft and fluffy, but probably best to only use them for powders. I tried to apply my liquid foundation with the largest one. It did not apply very well for me, and the bristles soaked up a lot of my product.My experience with the eyeshadow brushes was similar. The brushes did a great job of picking up the powders, but the eyeshadow brushes themselves are rather stiff, making it difficult to blend anything to get a cohesive look. As you can see in my photos, several of the eyeshadow brushes have stray bristles and will need to be trimmed down.The makeup sponges are nice quality and worked well for me to correct my foundation after the brush didn't work very well. The hard plastic case for them is nice, too!Overall, this is probably a decent set for a young person or someone who's just starting out learning how to do makeup. The price is reasonable for the amount of pieces you receive, but in my opinion, the quality is just okay overall.
