Needed the part urgently for my smoothie store so was happy to get next day delivery. The part doesn’t fit my XL machine though. The bag that it comes in does say it is the XL drive socket. The shaft on the XL is too wide for this part. The picture shows the old broken part. It does not have the metal piece in the middle. This part looks to be the same size as my other Vitamix non XL socket drives. I have the 5200 and vita-prep.Updated: received a part from a different vendor (right side of the third picture). The new part fits the XL. Note that there is no metal part in the middle and the black plastic opening is a square shape. The part that doesn’t fit has a metal piece in the middle and the black plastic is circle shape so even if the metal piece is removed it wouldn’t fit.
