I just love how convenient this blender is. It's so easy to clean. The blades inside each container come right out so you can easily clean the lid, blade piece, and container. I don't like most blenders because its hard to clean under the blades at the bottom and gunk builds up. I'm not a expert on blending power so I'm not sure how powerful it is. I'm making vegetable smoothies and there is some small chewy pieces but I don't know if that is normal.The blades are very sharp so you MUST BE very careful when cleaning!!! I can normally wash a normal knife by hand and not get cut but these are a little different. I've got one cut on my finger already. It seemed small but there was more blood than normal. I really hope they keep making this model in the future and possibly make the blades safer. I wouldn't want my kids cleaning this. It's also nice that each unit has it's own blade piece in it which I wasn't sure about when first buying.I guess you do need to make sure the blade piece and lid is on properly or when you attach the motor on top it won't work. That was a problem when I tried to use the chopper with some onions and peppers for fajitas. The container for the chopper wasn't big enough for both some onions and a bell pepper. Also when chopping I think you just need to barely turn the power on for a second. I wasn't aware of that and it turned my peppers and onions into mush after a few seconds. It's possible that it's a little too powerful for chopping. I will have to try again. I had it one only for a few seconds for first the onion and the onion was a little meshed already.
