PROS> Huge plus is the glass bowl. Unlike the cheap, disposable, garbage acrylic plastic that all other models feature, which may be easy to mold, but easily develop marks, scratches and subject to microplastic peel. This feature alone makes the product outstanding. Glass is the right material for a food processor's bowl that subject the ingredients to great force and speed, not a cheap plastic that peels off micro plastic poisoning the food, turns cloudy overtime and easily breaks. It is scratch and peel proof and cleaning is easy.> Does a super fast and efficient job dicing herbs, greens and vegetables. You can achieve the same result with a knife but even with my fast knife skills, this is a real time saver. I was really surprised how fast it processes the ingredients.> It is a must for preventing food waste. You can process many ingredients and freeze or refrigerate in advance of your upcoming meal preps. Faster prep time is totally worth it. Even things that are typically thrown away can be processed and used to prevent waste such as the stems of various herbs and greens, where in fact most of the nutrients are stored.> The processing result is mostly even too. However, some ingredients might not keep getting finer if processed more, specially if the volume you put in the bowl is not much. For example, beyond a certain point, garlic will not become a finer paste. However it is fine and small enough to suit 90% of my uses. Again, partly this can be eliminated if you put in more of the same ingredients in the bowl, but even that has its limits.> The blade design is what every food processor should feature. It is a MUST. There are 4 blade instead of 2 which means if your ingredients like herbs in the lower and upper part of the bowl will be processed evenly without the need to stop and mix them over. Make sure the herbs are dry and not wet from being washed. I've never had a uniformly processed experience with 2 blade designs, even most expensive food processors. A 2 blade design has limited applications and I would end up having to sort the mix and use a knife to process the uneven chunks.CONS> The motor and the blade top might not attach seamlessly at all times. This is an inverted design. It takes some time to line them up. Improvement is needed to align them easier. The motor will not operate if contact is not made. This shouldn't be mistaken as DOA. At times if not locked, the motor operate but blade won't rotate.> It will not do sauces or purees that might require solid ingredients. I realize this is not advertised as part of its features, but I tried making a dressing for a salad and it couldn't puree everything and garlic only got very fine but not entirely broken down. For sauces, increase the ingredients volume and use a blender. It is not suited for certain sauces. Perhaps a blade or mechanism can be implemented in future models.> I would have been perfect if it could feature disc blades to shred, dice and slice as well. It would be a superior product since most conventional food processors suck in their performance and built or deliberately perform a limited selection of tasks so as to force the user to buy accessories or other products. This inverted design could become the perfect food processor and I'll gladly pay for such a design that lasts.> The rubber ring at contact point of upper bowl and lid has to be cleaned every time to prevent mold. It is thin and might fall apart overtime. But it doesn't come into contact with food and possibly can be improvised for if it fails.Overall, having been frustrated with many food processors, I am happy with the built and performance of this unit. It does what it's been advertised for very well. I hope manufacturers read this review and consider coming up with the upgraded perfect inverted design food processor that keep the pros and improve the cons.Bought this for my mom as an "alternative" to all the other food processors out there. Now I'm ordering one for myself...So what I love about this one is that it's just easy. No huge heavy base and safety mechanism crap that stops you from seeing the food you're trying to process and easily adding ingredients to be blended. If you have used and love an immersion blender (like the Braun multi immersion tool I was gifted), this is the logic this device is based upon but in a larger, weighted bowl.Since the initial purchase was a gift for my mom (who is 76 and whom I wanted to avoid a heavy, useless paperweight), I did considerable research and was cautious. After she received the chopper, I visited them to prepare "Mexican Night" and tested this chopper myself to make salsa.... Now, I am ordering one myself. It especially makes perfect salsa ot your specifications. And the capacity is perfect!! The salsa recipe I tested requires 6 tomatos, 2 jalapenos, 1 poblano, 1 C green onion, and a can of diced tomatos. This unit seemed like maybe that was going to be too much, but to my highest expectations-it wasn't. And pulsing the chopper for this specific purpose is amazing and far outstrips the capacities of the regular processors. Now, I haven't myself (until I get my own) yet used this for other purposes. But I can tell you I came back home and immediately made the same salsa with my existing processor and I HATE IT.PROS:-Great for people who love to make salsa or whom want explicit control over chopping.-LOVE the simpicity and ease of cleaning with this unit. Plus... the simplicity of adding ingredients without taking the whole unit apart like a regular food processor with heavy base unit.-Think of this like a large-capacity immersion blender with 4 sharp blades in the processing bowl.-The bowl is glass and weighted and stays in position on the counter no problem!-It's easy to remove processed food product from the bowl-Cleaning is easy-only clean 2 pieces: the bowl & the lidCONS:-The unit does not "slice" nor "grate." I don't care, I feel that my other purposes weigh in at 90% of use and this is why I'm purchasing one for myself now.-There is no "feeder tube." But if you think about this and the ultimate capacity of the bowl, this is pointless anyway honestly.I did evaluate the above items and now I hate my existing food processor compared to the way this one functions. I would rather hand-grate cheese and slice items when I need to than forego the use of this unit!!This review dated 2022-05-23: To note, I did purchase the 4-year insurance on this item so my mom could replace immediately if anything goes wrong. Now that I'm going to purchase one myself (within a month of the Mother's Day gift scenario) I'll update this review if anything goes wrong on either one of the units. But, ultimately, for $40 cost, I expect to love this for awhile!!!Like other uses said, ignore some negative reviews, and probably don't put the lid in your dishwasher and hand-wash it like you should if your water temp is high, and this system I expect to last many years!Very quiet and very quick. I chop greens and apples daily for my geese, turkeys and sometimes for the chickens as a treat. I also love to make coleslaw and need to chop nuts from time to time. I had a small, old chopper/grinder from Cuisinart that was inefficient for the amount of work I have to do. What a difference! What normally took me 1/2 an hour now takes 5 minutes! That time adds up if you’re crunched for time like I am. Very pleased with this product! The blades are very very sharp. They come enclosed in plastic covers. Just pinch the very end and work them off. Be very careful. Not intended for children under 18. Lining up the motor with the blade mechanism takes a little getting used to but practice makes perfect. Also the rubber ring that comes with this product goes on the outside of the glass bowl bottom. Makes a huge difference with sound and control I’m sure. This does not chop ice. It’s a warning on the lid. Dishwasher safe (not the motor part.) I really couldn’t believe how fast this chopper is. Happy happy! Highly recommend.I really like this food processor Except the plastic axel that broke and the silicone base that you don’t need and that immediately falls off - they need a bit more design to make this reallly great. Good news is they are sendjng a new axel so good customer serviceLove it, its super powerful, chops really good using either 1 or 2 blades. Will highly recommended to have to facilitate your cooking skillsIt works really good! Very easy to use!I like that it’s a pulse-operated machine. Most blenders and processors liquify everything, but this one allows more control over that. I use mine for making relish and salsa. I loved this product at first but the blades dulled quickly and I contacted the seller who told me they are no longer selling this product. So I do not recommend purchasing it!Artikel ging zurück.
