I use this for all my cooking needs will there be to be grinding my meat or stirring my dough or using the blender to make a smoothie I use it everyday it's a great product I would suggest it to anyoneI put some ingredients in the blender for a smoothie. I turned it on. It splattered and died. Nothing worksI wanted to get into baking as I see myself as a self taught chef/cook. I easily got into baking with this awesome appliance. I haven't gotten into making bread just yet but I have made empandas, cookies, tarts and tortillas. So far great and easy to use.My only gripe is the suction pads on the bottom of the base. The machine does make some noise and vibrations due to the somewhat decent suction pads. Not a huge let down, you just can't push the machine with a full bowl and on high speeds.This review is primarily for the mixer part since that's what I use on it.I'm always leary of buying super off brand Made in China stuff since I usually regret it, but this is probably the first time I've had almost zero complaints and it actually seems like a well made product. Like it's surprising and maybe slightly alarming that they can make this for $60. (at time of purchase)I've only used it a handful of times so I can't speak to the longevity of it, but it functions very well and seems well made with maybe a handful of exceptions that stand out as weakpoints that will undoubtedly break first.First noticable possible weakpoint: the blender attaches with small plastic tabs that seem a bit small and fragile to hold on such a large attachment, and I don't see them holding up under regular use over the long term, but I haven't actually had any issue with it yet. (The meatgrinder on the other hand attaches with metal fasteners and is obviously going to last.)The second thing that looks like it won't last long is the wisk attachment. It's made out of cheap plastic and is pretty flimsy, it'll probably be the first thing to break, but at least it's kind of a minor gripe. The main mixing head and dough hook are metal and appear to be built to last and don't seem to corrode.Other than those 2 things it seems pretty solid. No hot motor smell yet.A noteworthy positive: it has lots of different speeds and the slow speed is actually very slow and fast is extremely fast, which seems weirdly rare in mixers.Overall it's shockingly good for the price. I just hope the chinese factory workers that make these aren't suffering too much to create such a good product for a price that seems too low to cover materials and to have anything left to provide even bottom of the barrel standard of living for the workers who built it.The most fun you can have in the kitchen! Everything functions.CONS: it is HEAVY, but great suction cups on bottom. Also, plan to buy extra bowl. Once you get started with this thing, it's hard to stop! Highly recommend.The price looked right, just as a toe dip to try my hand at bread making. I was a bit concerned that dough can be heavy to mix, but this mixer did a great job with both 1 lb and 2 lbs of ingredients, using its sucker feet to stay steady on the work-top. The mixer ran just fine, with a wet or dry mix and it was easy to add extra ingredients to get the consistency just right. I also used it for water/lard pastry, for a Desperate Dan Cow Pie, worked just fine. I use it about twice a week and it is holding up just fine. It arrived with a whole load of attachments which I have yet to explore, the dough hook is doing just great.Love this, I can do everything in it, my family is so happy I get to express myself with this product.
